
PeerTV group takes another step forward
PeerTV, the TV over the internet to printed circuit board production solutions group announced this week that its subsidiary company Digitek SMT Assemblies Limited had won major contracts with Strauss Water which are expected to generate sales of approximately $1.5 million on an annual basis.
Strauss Water is a subsidiary of the Strauss Group which has 14,000 employees worldwide and is active in 22 countries and has 29 production sites. In 2012 Strauss Group turnover was in excess of $2.2 billion. A leading manufacturer and supplier of food and beverage products, Strauss has collaborations with major international brands including Danone, PepsiCo, Haier and Virgin. The order from Strauss Water is for the manufacture of power supplies for the Tami-4 unit, based on product design and specification produced by Digitek. The order is for a minimum of 200,000 units and is conditional on successful completion of a final design stage.
Digitek specialises in high quality electronic assembly, applying quality standards demanded by the defence, medical and high tech sectors and now offers a range of services including cabling, power supply design and coatings as well as specialist “clean rooms”, as required by customers in the medical sector.
